AIESHA BARRETT
Aiesha is a Jamaican-born singer, songwriter, and publicist, renowned for her diverse talents and musical heritage. Raised in Bronx, New York where she was surrounded by hip hop and reggae culture, she has an emended sense of humor when it comes to music creativity and is determined to fulfill her dreams as a singer. She is the daughter of the legendary Aston "Family Man" Barrett, the bassist for Bob Marley & The Wailers. Her father played a crucial role in shaping the sound of reggae music, contributing significantly to Bob Marley's success.
Aiesha has made her own mark in the music industry, contributing as a Grammy-nominated publicist to The Wailers' 25th studio album "One World," which was nominated at the 63rd Grammy Awards, 2X Caribbean Music Awards nominee and rising superstar. Her musical style blends reggae with pop and country, aiming to create a unique and memorable sound. a rising star in the reggae music scene, known for her soulful voice and impactful lyrics. Aiesha Barrett has been deeply influenced by the rich musical heritage of her homeland, which is evident in her vibrant and authentic reggae sound.

She has also been active in modeling and acting. She was a top 10 finalist in the Miss Jamaica USA 2005 pageant and has appeared in films. Additionally, she was a top finalist in Maxim Magazine's Covergirl competition in both the U.S. and France editions, helping to raise money to provide homes for veterans.
Despite facing criticism and challenges along the way for her love for her father, who passed away on her birthday February 3rd, 2024. Aiesha's mission is to continue pursuing her musical career in honor of his memories by creating timeless music for generation to come. Aiesha is a breath of fresh air and a fire to reggae music, she's royalty and talented in so many ways, not to mention kind, intelligent, sweet, driven and hard working.
